Microland migrates 100,000 userbase for an aerospace and defense company in 11 months

The client is an aerospace and defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. Headquartered in Waltham Massachusetts USA, it is one of largest companies in the world involved in the development and manufacturing of aircraft engines, avionics, aero structures, cybersecurity, missiles, air defense systems, and drones and consists of four highly specialized businesses: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon Intelligence & Space and Raytheon Missiles & Defense. 

Two spin-offs and a merger resulted in a complex scenario and a unique challenge of splitting userbase and active directory domains across the spun off and merged entities in multiple  geographies in addition to server and application estate.
