Job Description
1) Have Hardware and Networking Knowledge on Server Hardware - Multiple Vendors HP/Dell/IBM, Remote Management Tools, Software & Hardware Raid, Technical understanding on network topologies & devices, Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions
2) Operating Systems - Server & Desktop Windows 2012, Windows 2016- Have Working knowledge on multiple Windows OS platforms, OS configuration on different roles - Domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS - configuration and troubleshooting. Have Knowledge of - Disk & Storage, File & Print Server Management, Terminal Services, Raid Administration, NTFS Permissions, WSUS Management and Administration,
3) Know DFS / File Sharing, Have Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions
4) Active Directory- Have Working knowledge on AD Users and Group administration, FSMO Roles, Site & Subnets
5) Have Technical understanding of FRS Configuration/ Administration/ Troubleshooting
6) Know Global Catalog Server, AD Group Policy, AD Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore
7) Have Technical understanding of AD tools and resource kit tools
8) Have Working knowledge of AD tools and resource kit tools, Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions
9) Storage- In additional on conceptual understanding that needed at the Advance level an Expert should also have Enterprise design knowledge. The advantages SAN Directory over Switch. Active/passive controller over Active/Active. RAID1 vs. RAIDV befits vs. shortcomings and overheard all should be in-depth
10) Backup- Have  Working knowledge on Setup and Configuration of native & 3rd party backup management tools & troubleshooting. Define Policy, Storage unit, Backup Pool, Retention. Have Knowledge on difference between Master & Media Server, Have Technical understanding of backup and restore type - exchange backup files/System State Backup / File-Folders backup, Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, suggest/recommend solutions
