Sonny who recently featured on Analytics India Magazine’s Top 10 Data Scientists in India list is a hero in our automation team. Gifted with a sound business and technical mind, his focus has been to significantly enhance the capability of Microland’s proprietary “Intelligeni” platform. He has been doing this by driving the algorithms and the ChatOps interface, enabling accurate, pin-point responses to queries. Simply put, Intelligeni is an engine that connects to an IT system, gets all the data, processes it and generates intelligent insights that, in turn using automation, auto-fixes issues. The level of extreme automation Intelligeni is capable of is a couple of years away, but the shape of things to come is evident in the robustness of the platform. As someone who has been part of the “founding team” of Intelligeni, even before the name was coined, Sonny feels personal about his calling. Sonny recalls an interesting anecdote between Satish, Chief Automation Officer and Manja, IoT practice head, whose vision was to manage a million IoT devices. “We want to manage those million devices with that 10 member team,” was Satish’s response. That’s the power of AIOps. And Intelligeni is a reflection of that power – it can support operations at scale without the linear addition of manpower. Playing in the AIOps big league of a Dynatrace, Splunk, BigPanda and Moogsoft, Sonny is proud to be part of the team that is framing Microland’s most ambitious product platform that gets ready for a world of high interoperability. As a suite of products Intelligeni will harness the best of our strengths across NAP, MicroBots, SmartCenter and of course AIOps. With POCs at Waste Management and a couple of other clients in place, POCs on Azure co-selling with Microsoft are also gaining momentum. Sonny is excited with what the future holds. And as someone who enjoys a little magic with his sleight of hand, we can’t wait for more magic in AIOps from this wizard.
