Readiness Assessment Services – This service is focused on clients who are in the initial stage of Windows Vista adoption. This service is aimed at giving clients insights on what would be required for Vista adoption given the state of readiness of its technology environment.

The exercise comprises of enumerating the technology landscape in the enterprise environment and evaluating the elements which are critical for adoption of Windows Vista. Typical aspects that would get evaluated would include diversity of the systems environment, compatibility of hardware / software / applications vis-à-vis Vista requirement, operational and management aspects, any specific consideration which would be important.

Define and proof the migration strategy – The objective of this service is to provide an environment specific approach and methodology for Windows Vista migration. To provide an additional level of reassurance, this service also focuses on proofing and testing the methodology defined.

The choice of the model for deployment - Zero-touch, Light-touch / Hybrid; the solution framework to be adopted; data migration approach; processes that need to be used and the interdependency that need to get addressed gets highlighted and tested.

The deployment is followed by a post deployment stabilization and handholding phase along with the support teams.
