IT solutions specialist STME today announced its strategic alliance with Microland. The partnership, which allows both companies to jointly provide Remote Infrastructure Management Services (RIMS), process and security consulting to the Middle East, will enable STME to build on Microland's extensive IMS capabilities. The alliance was announced at the 4th Annual Achieving Operational Excellence in Financial Services Conference held at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort and Towers in Dubai between the 17th and the 19th of November where STME unveiled its new Remote Infrastructure Management Services (RIMS) line.
RIMS look to encompass an entire array of technology and services. RIMS are provided by vendors who have expertise in all available technology right from the desktop to the server. It involves continuous monitoring of critical systems, ensuring security of data and infrastructure, proactive identification of potential pain points and creation of solutions to ensure continuous availability of IT infrastructure at reduced operational costs.
