The appointment signifies a milestone in Microland’s growth plans. In his capacity as CMO, Kumar will be responsible for Microland’s global marketing and services strategy functions.

Kumar comes with over 22 years of global and national experience, of which over 17 years have been in the IT industry in leading organizations such as Sify, Hinduja TMT and TVS Electronics. As Senior Vice President at Sify, Kumar built and grew Sify’s Global Remote Infrastructure Management business in USA, Europe and the Middle East, besides also managing Sify’s eLearning services business. Kumar has also had entrepreneurial stints with SystemLogic Solutions, a Bangalore based software services provider which he cofounded, and Maples ESM Technologies, a Chennai based company focused on IBM Mainframe Systems Management services as its COO.

” Kumar has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Chennai and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
